"DataSecure provides a rich range of encryption methods and role-based security that can be mapped to SQL or LDAP databases. It also nails auditing. You easily see anything that's ever been done in the system, including failed encryption attempts, configuration changes, and system reboots.... Overall, an excellent solution for protecting sensitive enterprise data." - InfoWorld
Ingrian Exhibiting in Booth #101 at BEA eWorld 2003
REDWOOD CITY, CA—February 27, 2003—Ingrian™ Networks, the leading provider of application security for Internet-powered businesses, today announced that it has joined the Star Partner Program of BEA Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: BEAS), the world’s leading application infrastructure software company. Ingrian’s Network-Attached Encryption™ (NAE) solution has been designated BEA Ready.
Ingrian’s NAE solution consists of a secure hardware platform with patent-pending software that automatically encrypts sensitive information to be stored on internal servers and databases. The NAE solution interfaces with BEA WebLogic Server™ via the Java Cryptography Extensions (JCE) Provider software. This can allow Ingrian to offload all cryptographic services from multiple servers, thereby further enhancing the performance of WebLogic Server. Even better, it can provide BEA customers with a scalable solution for securing confidential business and consumer data inside their firewall, where it is often most vulnerable.
“Information security is an essential requirement for all of our customers, and we want to provide them with compelling solutions that can ensure complete protection of their sensitive transaction data,” said Scott Edgington, vice president and general manager, global software partners, BEA Systems. “We are pleased to have Ingrian join our partner program, and provide that level of security to our customers.”
Ingrian plans to work closely with BEA to offer its security solution to key customers that depend on the Web for critical information, business, and commerce transactions, and require complete end-to-end transaction privacy.
"Data stored on servers and databases is quite vulnerable to both internal and external attacks, which is why secure encryption of sensitive data in storage is a business imperative,” said Richard Stiennon, Research Director, Network Security, at Gartner.

Ingrian Networks delivers on the promise of e-Transaction Privacy™, enabling forward-looking businesses to protect their applications and data in transit across the Internet and in storage on internal servers and databases. The company’s comprehensive application security solutions consist of patent-pending security software integrated into a family of secure transaction platforms. The result is complete, end-to-end privacy of all Web-based transactions, including e-commerce, e-mail, ERP, and more. Ingrian is a privately held company backed by such investors as American Express (NYSE:AXP), JAFCO Ventures, Partech International, and Prism Venture Partners.
