Ingrian Announces 60-Day Program for PCI Compliance

Ingrian announces acceleration program to help companies meet the September PCI deadline and earn benefits through the PCI CAP

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – July 31, 2007 – Ingrian® Networks, Inc., the leading provider of data privacy solutions, today announced a 60 Days to Compliance Program to assist companies in meeting the impending payment card industry (PCI) compliance deadline. The new program is designed to simplify the compliance process and offers a start-to-finish strategy that includes: Ingrian award-winning appliances, data discovery of credit card numbers, comprehensive customer training and support, and implementation in order to bring customers into compliance in 60 days or less.

While organizations face ongoing challenges to meet mandates such as PCI, the incidence of data breaches continues and the cost to organizations can be staggering. In the April 2007 report, “Calculating the Cost of a Security Breach”, Forrester Research estimates that breaches cost companies between $90 and $305 per lost record. A figure that increases as breaches go undetected.

Ingrian’s new program will help companies worldwide implement encryption, and is especially timely as retailers scramble to meet the upcoming September 30 deadline for the PCI Data Security Standard.  The four phases of the Ingrian 60 Days to Compliance Program include:

  • Validation: Program kicks off by validating the Ingrian i110 DataSecure in the enterprise’s testing environment.
  • Procurement and planning: Test data is moved into production and additional stress tests are implemented to prepare the production environment.
  • Implementation: Prepare the production environment and coordinate operations and management with security constituency of developers, security personnel and operations stakeholders, ensuring that data stewards and data owners understand how to manage keys and policies, and maintain ongoing processes.
  • Testing and going live: Final stage when implementation is rolled into the production environment—either sequentially or simultaneously.

Many companies are worried that encryption will be difficult to integrate and disrupt their business processes and operations,” said Michael Howard, CEO of Ingrian Networks. “Our sixty day program means that from start to finish, Ingrian will give customers the tools and resources to meet the requirements of PCI and safeguard their sensitive data.”

The Ingrian 60 Days to Compliance Program is based on the award-winning i110 DataSecure® Platform—recently voted as the best and most trusted encryption solution by customers worldwide—and offers two bundles:

  • Production Bundle comprised of two i110 DataSecure platforms, two database licenses, and four application licenses
  • Non-Production Bundle comprised of one i110 DataSecure platform, one database license, and two application licenses.

Both bundles include training and support.  To see if your organization qualifies for this program, please contact inquiries@ingrian.com
